Welcome to the official website of the United States Lakeland Terrier Club, Inc. The United States Lakeland Terrier Club, Inc., a non-profit member of the American Kennel Club, was originally formed in southern California in 1954.  It is the parent club of the Lakeland Terrier breed in the United States. As such, it is the organization which is responsible for the preservation and advancement of the interests of the Lakeland Terrier and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience, agility trials, field and hunting events, and other types of performance competitions; and to support rescue/adoption activities.

MCKC Ads due August 10th - Saturday, August 07, 2010
  THE MONTGOMERY CATALOG DEADLINE IS TUESDAY AUGUST 10.  Don't let it slip by.  This year is our 75th Anniversary of AKC recognition of our breed and we want it to be special.  The ad information is in your Montgomery packet (which is also on the web site under the members only section),  hopefully you have already sent your ads to Florence Prawel.  Full, half and quarter page ads are being accepted.  Check your MCKC packet for more information!

 

 
New AKC Canine Health Foundation Podcast Released - Friday, July 16, 2010

The AKC Canine Health Foundation is pleased to release the next podcast in the Genome Barks series. This week on Genome Barks, we welcome Dr. Nancy Kay, author of "Speaking for Spot: Be the Advocate Your Dog Needs to Live a Happy, Healthy, Longer Life." Dr. Kay is a private practitioner who received her veterinary degree from Cornell University and is a specialist in internal medicine.
